Our Mobile Academic Classroom (MAC) offers an innovative approach to increase access to training throughout Northeast Ohio. MAC creates a quality learning environment for students and instructors that travels to requested locations throughout Northeast Ohio.
The MAC provides members of our community with new skills, giving them the foundation to obtain skills in different areas. It is also designed to provide demand-driven training at client sites, help to retain employees, and keep businesses competitive through skills upgrade and process improvements for incumbent workers. MAC is available for travel throughout Northeast Ohio to provide resources at various community events, trade fairs, and schools in our region.
The MAC features six learning stations, a teacher's station (for younger children), a mini library, encyclopedias, an assortment of learning tools, school supplies, noise cancelling headphones, educational CDs & DVDs, laptops, 2 flat screen televisions, and it's WIFI accessible.
MAC can be tailored to accommodate various events through its unique “plug and play” feature, allowing a variety of technology to be connected.
